Job summary

Metromont Corporation is seeking a Project Drafter to design and prepare CAD-based plans and scale drawings for complex projects. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with engineers and architects, and ensuring CAD files align with evolving specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of drafting experience and familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit. Office-based work with standard hours, occasional flexibility may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years drafting experience.
• Able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare CAD working plans, charts, and scale drawings for complex projects.
• Prepare layouts and material/equipment requirements from sketches and specifications.
• Coordinate drafting work with engineers and architects.
• Revise CAD plans to meet modified specifications during construction.
• Procure CAD and Revit files when needed.
