Actalent is seeking a CAD Designer for its Kansas City office within the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department. The candidate will focus on Civil Design and Site Grading, completing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings in a fully onsite role based in Overland Park, KS.

Ideal candidates will have AutoCAD proficiency, a CAD-related certification or associate degree, and strong communication skills.

The Kansas City office is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the CAD Designer position within the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department. The candidate will focus on Civil Design and Site Grading while completing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Complete drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• General office skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certification or Associate degree in CAD Design preferred.
• Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a cubical setting within the headquarters, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented culture. The role involves using various technologies and equipment pertinent to telecommunications, engineering, and project management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
