Job summary
Patriot Custom Metals, based in Carter Lake, IA, is seeking a Drafter to design and draft high-profile architectural metal products using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and BIM tools. The role includes independent project work and on-the-job training in REVIT and Inventor, with opportunities to contribute to fabrication documents and quality control.
The team works on aluminum and steel products for notable sites nationwide. Compensation is hourly, with benefits typical for a fabrication shop.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year drafting experience.
- Capable of drafting original designs.
- Strong AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills.
- Experience with Revit, Inventor and BIM modeling helpful.
- Collaborative team environment in drawing, QC and fabrication docs.
- Portfolio appreciated but not required.
