Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation in Alaska is seeking a Drafter to provide drafting support using AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and other programs. The role collaborates with engineers, project managers, and leadership to produce precise technical drafts for construction plans.

Requires at least 1 year of drafting experience, proficiency in Word/Excel, and the ability to commute to Big Lake. The position accommodates a comprehensive benefits package and is on-site in a climate-controlled office

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year of relevant drafting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with AutoCAD Architecture; knowledge of other design software is a plus.
Must be able to commute to Big Lake, AK.

Responsibilities

Create accurate, detailed technical plans using CAD programs.
Work closely with project manager to develop details and construction plans.
Update CAD standards; contribute to and maintain components library.
Collect, study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts for further study and review by project managers.
Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information in an easy-to-read format, and verify calculations and units are accurate.
