UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Drafter in Big Lake, AK to provide drafting support using AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and other programs. The Drafter will work directly with team members, leadership, and clients, ensuring accurate technical drafts and adherence to CAD standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of drafting experience, strong Word/Excel skills, and the ability to commute to Big Lake, AK. A favorable driving record and a valid license are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of drafting experience.
• MS Word and Excel knowledge required.
• AutoCAD Architecture knowledge required.
• Residential/light commercial construction knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Must commute to Big Lake, AK Mon-Fri.

Responsabilidades

• Create accurate, detailed technical plans using CAD programs.
• Work closely with project manager to develop details and construction plans.
• Update CAD standards; contribute to and maintain components library.
• Collect, study and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into drafts.
• Check that final drafts include all relevant information and verify measurements and units.
• Review technical drafts as needed according to instructions from managers and clients.
• Support company leadership in the design process; serve as a drafting resource.
