Job summary

Summertown Metals is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our in‑house CAD department in Summertown, TN. The role focuses on drawing housing blueprints and supporting sales and engineering teams. Revit knowledge is preferred and the position is in-office.

You will work with engineers and external CAD designers, contribute to STM media website projects, and help review processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Ability to draft housing blueprints using CAD software.
Preference for knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
Capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist sales reps with design questions.
Draw blueprints for homes.
Collaborate with engineers and outsourced CAD designers.
Assist with STM media website building.
Review and update processes when needed.

Summertown Metals is looking for an individual to work in our CAD department to draw housing blueprints. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team. This is an in-office position. Knowledge of Revit preferred. Knowledge of construction is helpful.
