Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet CAD Drafter proficient in Cabinet Vision to convert designers' drawings into precise 2D and 3D cabinetry plans and generate cut lists for production. This in-person role reviews designs for discrepancies and ensures compliance with contractual specs.

You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and production teams to create production-ready drawings, perform quality checks, and maintain organized CAD records while updating

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably in the cabinetry or woodworking industry.
• Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of programming.
• Nice to have SQL and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cabinet CAD Drafter proficient in Cabinet Vision to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing designers' drawings for discrepancies, ensuring final designs comply with contractual specifications, and creating/preparing jobs for production.

Closets by Design is a leading provider of custom cabinetry solutions, known for our innovative designs and exceptional craftsmanship. We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Using Cabinet Vision, a library-based software, the drafter would be responsible for taking drawings and converting them into 2D and 3D designs. They would also be responsible for creating cut-lists for the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Cabinet Vision software to create detailed and accurate CAD drawings for custom cabinetry projects.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
