Job summary

VARITE is seeking a qualified CAD Drafter for a 6-month onsite assignment in Hauppauge, NY. The role focuses on generating and revising construction drawings under supervision, including floor plans, riser diagrams, and electrical interconnections.

The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD 2014 or newer, well-versed in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office, and have strong organizational skills. High school diploma required with preferred experience in electrical or low-voltage

Responsibilities

• Create and revise construction drawings under supervision.
• Produce floor plan layouts, riser diagrams, electrical interconnection drawings, and installation termination drawings.
• Prepare submittal documentation, including product data sheets and battery calculations.
• Maintain project drawing files and records.
• Track and update as-built drawings.
• Support design team members with assigned projects.

• Job Title: CAD Drafter
• Duration: 06 months
• Location: Hauppauge, NY
• Work Mode: Onsite
• Pay Rate Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hr on W2
• Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to the Hauppauge, NY office or able to reliably commute, as this is an onsite role within office collaboration being a key expectation.
