Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an entry-level Designer 1 to work in Elkton, Maryland. This role involves routine CAD modeling and drafting, focusing on components for solid rocket and air-breathing propulsion systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of CADD training. Familiarity with Siemens NX and PTC CREO software is highly preferred. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have 1+ years of CADD training and be familiar with CADD software.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance, requiring US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Draft and model minor components and portions of systems.
• Modify drawings utilizing computer-aided design software.
• Perform calculations for basic sizing of part interfaces.
