Job summary

AKG of America Inc. seeks a qualified Designer to create and finalize 3D models and production drawings. You will work closely with engineers to translate concepts into production-ready documentation, including BOMs and specs.

Experience with SAP data management and engineering change processes is essential. You will generate and revise drawings, ensure compliance with drafting standards, and support design-to-manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical drafting/design
• 5+ years of experience in Design/Manufacturing
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to organize complex technical data

Responsibilities

• Create and formalize 3D models and production drawings
• Generate bills of materials and technical specifications
• Use SAP to store and manage CAD data
• Ensure drawings meet AKG standards and ECM processes
• Support revisions through engineering change processes
• Communicate design changes clearly to cross-functional teams
