Job summary

AKG North America is seeking a Design professional to create and finalize 3D models and production drawings for manufacturing, coordinating with engineers to translate concepts into production-ready documentation, including BOMs and specifications. You will manage design data in SAP and support engineering changes while adhering to AKG standards.

The role emphasizes strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize complex information for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical Drafting/Design
• 5+ years of experience in Design/Manufacturing
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to organize complex technical data for management and other departments to understand Mechanical Aptitude

Responsibilities

• Complete and formalize 3-D models developed by Design Engineers.
• Generate production drawings, including GD&T and follow all AKG drawing standards and others, where applicable
• Revise existing production drawings (detail and assembly drawings) via ECM process
• Use Data Management systems (SAP) to store and manage CAD data in a secure and organized manner
• Generate bills of material to be loaded in material/resource planning system (SAP)
• Follows all AKG drawing and design standards
• Use Basic engineering knowledge
