Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D CAD design with Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Ability to produce accurate 3D models and BOMs from models.
• Experience creating 2D drawings for electrical panels using AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Background in CAD drafting with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D drawings using Inventor (or similar) for projects and procurement.
• Create accurate 3D models reflecting design intent for fabrication.
• Develop 2D drawings for electrical panels in AutoCAD.
• Support sales, procurement, and manufacturing with drawings and models.
• Verify drawings and models meet internal standards before release.
• Generate complete BOMs from 3D drawings for purchasing and production.
• Maintain and update the standards drawing library.
• Collaborate with project leaders and engineers to resolve design issues.
• Contribute CAD design, modeling, and documentation in product development efforts.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
