Job summary
Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions is seeking a CAD Designer in Cheswick, PA to program 2D CAD for two vertical glass CNCs and a water jet, and to manage automated processes in AutoCAD. You will coordinate with multiple departments, provide customer service support, and help optimize production capacity.
The role offers weekly pay and benefits starting Day One, with opportunities for performance-based incentives. Strong independent work skills and basic glass/CNC knowledge are valued.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing inventory or related field preferred.
- Basic AutoCAD skills required.
- Ability to manage projects and work independently.
- Basic understanding of glass fabrication, manufacturing, CNC machining and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Basic 2D CAD programming involving two vertical glass CNCs and a water jet.
- Programming and working on automated processes in AutoCAD.
- Communicate role information to required departments and relay changes or delays to necessary personnel.
- Order entry responsibilities and customer service assistance.
- Provide timely feedback for Customer Service and Operations Management.
- Recommend strategies to alleviate capacity constraints.
