Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Cheswick, PA is seeking a CAD Designer to program two vertical glass CNCs and operate AutoCAD-enabled processes. This role involves coordinating with departments and handling order entry and customer service tasks.

You should have 2 years of manufacturing experience and basic AutoCAD skills, with the ability to manage projects independently and understand glass fabrication, CNC machining, and assembly.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Basic 2D CAD programming involving two vertical glass CNC's and a water jet.

• Provide timely feedback for Customer Service and Operations Management.
• Recommend strategies to help alleviate capacity constraints.

What You Will Be Doing

• Basic 2D CAD programming involving two vertical glass CNC's and a water jet.
• Responsible for programming & working on the automated processes of AutoCAD.
• Communicate role information to required departments and relays changes and/or delays to the necessary personnel.
• Order Entry responsibilities and customer service assistance
• Provide timely feedback for Customer Service and Operations Management.

Skills You Bring

• Prior experience of 2 years in manufacturing inventory or related skill (preferred)
• Basic AutoCAD skills.
• Ability to take role of managing projects and work independently.
• Basic understanding of glass fabrication and manufacturing, CNC machining and assembly.
