Job summary

WGA in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a dedicated CAD Designer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create and manage design drawings, including model space, x-references, dynamic blocks, and sheet sets for municipal, land development, and site projects.

The role collaborates with project leads, prepares drawing packages, and contributes to deliverables across municipal, land development, and site development efforts.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in Land Development, Municipal or Site Development Design.
• Civil 3D proficiency required.
• Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilise AutoCAD skills in model/paper space environments, x-references, dynamic blocks, sheet set manager and other frequently used AutoCAD applications, including Civil3D.
• Assist with preparation of drawing packages for various projects including: Municipal projects: sanitary sewer collection, lift stations, water mains and roadway paving and drainage systems; Land Development projects: single family subdivisions, public road and utility extensions, detention ponds; Site Development projects: commercial and residential site developments, boundary, topographic and construction surveys.
• Works closely with project and task team leaders
• Perform other duties as assigned
