Job summary

WGA is seeking a CAD Designer to join our team in Texas. The role focuses on AutoCAD-based design across municipal, land development, and site development projects, leveraging Civil 3D capabilities.

Qualified candidates typically have 2–4 years in related design fields and a technical degree preferred. The position emphasizes collaboration with project leaders and precise drawing package preparation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in Land Development, Municipal or Site Development Design.
• Civil 3D proficiency required.
• Technical degree preferred.

• Assist with preparation of drawing packages for Municipal projects, Land Development projects and Site Development projects.
• Work closely with project and task team leaders.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated, focused, and career driven CAD Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD skills in model/paper space environments, x-references, dynamic blocks, sheet set manager and other frequently used AutoCAD applications, including Civil3D.
• Assist with preparation of drawing packages for various projects including:
  • Municipal projects: sanitary sewer collection, lift stations, water mains and roadway paving and drainage systems.
  • Land Development projects: single family subdivisions, public road and utility extensions, detention ponds.
  • Site Development projects: commercial and residential site developments, boundary, topographic and construction surveys
• Works closely with project and task team leaders
• Perform other duties as assigned
