Roc Search is partnering with an established civil engineering consulting firm in Northwest Houston to recruit a Civil CAD Designer. The role focuses on preparing construction drawings for residential, commercial, and municipal projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines.

Candidate should have civil CAD drafting/design experience in land development or public works, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Professional civil CAD drafting or design experience within land development or public works.
• Familiarity with site grading, drainage, roadway, or underground utility plans.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work through drawing revisions with an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise civil construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support grading, drainage, paving, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water utility design.
• Develop plan and profile drawings, details, and associated construction documents.
• Work with Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks as projects require.
• Incorporate engineering markups and review comments while maintaining accurate, coordinated drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and drawing standards.

Roc Search is partnering with an established civil engineering consulting firm in Northwest Houston to recruit a Civil CAD Designer. We're interested in candidates with experience in land development, public works, or both.

You'll work alongside civil engineers and project managers to develop construction drawings for residential and commercial development or municipal infrastructure projects. Your project focus will depend on your background and the team you join.

What you'll work on:

• Prepare and revise civil construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support grading, drainage, paving, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water utility design.
• Develop plan and profile drawings, details, and associated construction documents.
