Job Summary

ACT is seeking a CAD Designer responsible for developing complex electronic equipment to meet customer and ACT specifications. We have a strong mentorship program and believe strongly in collaboration between all departments and career development.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Associates degree in CAD or two year technical school in mechanical design or commensurate applicable experience and education
  • A working knowledge of or demonstrated interest in gaining knowledge of ASME Y14.100M: Engineering Drawing Practice and ASME14.5: Dimensioning and Tolerance
  • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel), AutoCAD Design Suite (Inventor), and ERP systems with a willingness to learn new systems highly desired
  • Strong communication skills, to be able to interact with interdepartmental personnel and customers
  • Math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions sufficient for dimensioning with math associated with electronic circuit theory preferred
  • Good organizational skills, self-motivated, creative, strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a willingness to learn
  • Experience in working with complex electronics preferred
