Job summary

CACI Federal Inc. seeks a CAD Designer on-site in Belgrade, MT to drive 3D CAD modeling and drafting for mechanical hardware from concept to production release.

You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and test teams to create complex assemblies, harnesses, and data packages, maintain CAD data in PLM/PDM, and ensure drawings meet ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards. 3+ years of experience and SolidWorks proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in modelling and drafting components.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and mechanical drafting standards.
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems.

Responsibilities

• Model, specify, and draw complex mechanical systems and assemblies.
• Develop engineering drawings and BOMs that meet ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are producible, cost-effective, and high quality.
• Manage CAD data and configuration using PLM software.
