Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a CAD Designer to create technical drawings using CAD software and to perform drafting duties as directed by the Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include generating drawings, revising as needed, and printing for production while adhering to company standards.

The role requires experience with Solid Edge 3D and ACAD 2D, plus basic math and print reading skills. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, and familiarity with electrical/hydraulic systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• 1 year CAD experience in secondary education preferred (will consider experience in lieu).
• Associate CAD degree and heavy equipment design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings using CAD software and generate new drawings as assigned.
• Perform routine revisions directed by department engineers.
• Plot/print drawings for production personnel or others as needed.
• Complete work in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner.
• Understand and use company drawing standards.
