Job summary
DentalEZ is seeking a CAD Designer to join our Chicago, IL facility. You will initiate and complete design, layout, and utility drawings for dental laboratory casework, with all work done in-house from concept to installation.
You will collaborate with customers, sales, architects, and contractors, providing 3‑D drawings, quotes, and technical documentation, while ensuring timely project completion and strong customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in CAD design for metal manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in SketchUp and 3D modeling.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout for cabinetry and casework in a dental laboratory setting.
- Create accurate 3D drawings, quotes and documentation per customer requests.
- Coordinate with customers, sales, and contractors from concept to installation.
- Maintain and modify drawing files and documentation to support projects.
- Prepare and finalize installation quotes and related manuals.
