Job summary

Apollo Technical in Glenview, IL is seeking an experienced kitchen and bath drafter/designer to join our family-owned team. You will create floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD, draft cabinetry and millwork, and prepare drawings for designers.

This full-time, in-person role requires at least three years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders while collaborating with designers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen and bath drafting/design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Knowledge of cabinetry and custom millwork.
• Experience preparing and placing orders.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Reliable and able to manage multiple jobs at once.
• Works well with others and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Creating kitchen and bath floor plans and elevations in AutoCAD.
• Drafting cabinetry and custom millwork.
• Preparing drawings and specifications for our designers.
• Reviewing shop drawings and order acknowledgments.
• Preparing and placing cabinetry orders.
• Checking dimensions, finishes, and other order details for accuracy.
• Working closely with our designers and the rest of our team.
