Job summary

I4Dentallab is seeking a talented CAD CAM Designer to join our Plymouth, MA dental lab team. You will design crowns, bridges, veneers, copings, and other restorations using CAD CAM software, review scans and prescriptions, and ensure precise fit and aesthetics.

You will collaborate with milling and finishing staff to meet exact specifications, stay current with software updates, and maintain accurate digital case files. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

I4Dentallab is looking for a talented CAD CAM Designer to join our close-knit dental laboratory team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys combining digital design skills with a strong understanding of dental anatomy and restorative principles to produce precise, high-quality dental restorations. In this role, you'll review incoming digital scans and case prescriptions, design restorations using CAD software, and work closely with milling and finishing teams to ensure each case meets exact specifications for fit, function, and aesthetics.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing crowns, bridges, veneers, copings, and other dental restorations using CAD CAM software
• Reviewing digital scans, impressions, and case prescriptions to ensure designs meet required specifications
• Preparing and adjusting digital models to achieve proper fit, contact, and occlusion
• Coordinating with milling technicians to ensure designs are compatible with production equipment and materials
• Making necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback from technicians, dentists, or quality checks
• Selecting appropriate materials and restoration types based on case requirements
• Maintaining accurate digital case files and documentation
• Troubleshooting scanning or design issues to keep production on schedule
• Collaborating with other lab team members to meet case deadlines
• Staying current on new CAD CAM software updates, materials, and industry best practices
