Job summary

CFD Research Corporation in Hollywood, AL seeks a CAD Design Engineer to design, prototype and integrate complex aerospace and defense systems with our engineering team at the Hollywood Engineering Test Center.

Requirements: US citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance; a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree and 5+ years of prototype hardware design; SolidWorks CAD; experience with milling and turning.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and developing prototype hardware.
• SolidWorks CAD experience.
• Designing for manufacturing methods including milling and turning operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate complex systems for aerospace/defense customers.
• Lead concept development, prototyping and testing with engineering team.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering and production/prototyping teams.
