Parsons is seeking a CAD/Civil 3D Modeler in Abu Dhabi to create engineering drawings and 3D models for infrastructure projects using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit as needed. You will read specs, ensure codes compliance, and prepare isometrics and layouts.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in engineering and at least 5 years of drafting experience on infrastructure projects, with strong English communication and keen attention to detail.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrable drafting experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience with computer aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD; Revit, Infrawizard are a plus.
• Fluent in English with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares drawings from rough sketches per established standards using CAD software.
• Ensures compliance with codes and company policies using technical manuals/directives.
• Becomes familiar with standards such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
• Compiles data and performs dimensional calculations for drawings.
• Reads orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.

• Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.

• Becomes familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.

• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.

• Understands how to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 5years demonstrable experience in the drafting experience on infrastructure projects.

• Must have experience on the use of computer aided drafting software, such as Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD etc. Revit, Infrawizard Structural experience is a plus.

• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills;

• Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory
