Job summary

Parsons is seeking a qualified CAD professional to support a DoD-related Technical Services program. You will manage Electrical Master Drawings, perform site surveys, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure data accuracy across worldwide delivery orders. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Architecture (or related), 8+ years in Micro-Station, AutoCAD and Archibus, and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Description:

Project:

Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work; conduct studies, analysis, testing and measuring; perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews; commissioning services; and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the clients Electrical Master Drawings files using CAD.
• Conduct Site Surveys to verify as-built conditions and incorporate them into the Master Drawings CAD files.
• Track and organize facility changes to the CAD data holdings.
• Coordinates work with engineering and construction teams to ensure project data is of the quality require to support the Master Drawings files.
• Perform CAD projects and other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Education and Typical Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (or equivalent related technical disciplines is acceptable) – Associate’s degree + years of experience may be substituted
• 8+ years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of related experience may be substituted.
• Must have five (5) years of professional experience in Micro-Station, AutoCAD, other Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) programs and Archibus experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
• Must be US Citizen

Skills/Competencies:

• Requires proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and concepts.
• Knowledge of architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design is also required.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
