Job summary

Alexander V. Bogaerts & Associates in Michigan is seeking a CAD/Revit Drafter with strong architectural design experience to produce 3D models and detailed construction documents.

You will support design development through construction documentation, coordinating with consultants and maintaining drawing sets. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Enscape, and BlueBeam is required; in-office schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with no remote option.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of architectural or construction experience; architectural degree preferred.
• Advanced skills in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Rendering Software (Enscape) and BlueBeam.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Teams/Word/Excel) and related tools.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and technically proficient CAD/Revit Drafter with demonstrated experience in architectural design and production. The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of architectural design software, a strong understanding of all phases of the architectural process, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects while consistently meeting established schedules and deadlines.

Core Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities will include involvement in all phases and aspects of architectural projects, from design development through construction documentation. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop 3D models, presentation drawings, and detailed construction documents.
• Prepare and produce architectural presentation and construction drawings utilizing computer-aided design and modeling software, including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and other applicable programs.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with the work of project consultants, including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, low-voltage, and other specialty disciplines.
• Assist the project team in maintaining accurate, coordinated, and complete drawing sets throughout the various phases of design and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of architectural or construction experience – architectural degree preferred
• Advanced skills in Sketchup, Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Rendering Software (Enscape) and BlueBeam
• Proficient in Microsoft Systems (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, FoxIT)
  • Sketchup Example: ability to create and manage organized and easily editable 3D models using groups, blocks, and/or layers as needed and source components from model libraries
• Experience in residential and multi-family is preferred
• In Person Office Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to noon – 1pm to 5pm
  • Remote working is not an option
