Job summary

Cactus Wellhead in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field service activities including installation, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years field service experience.
• H2S, SafeLand and DOT certifications required when operating vehicles over 10,001 GVWR.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
• Check equipment compatibility, inspect condition, perform dry fit and communicate with customer.
• Install and test equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Service equipment per maintenance procedures as requested by customers.
• Repair equipment as needed due to field malfunctions.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools; report repairs to Branch Manager.
• Provide feedback to the Company via Field Complaint Reports.
• Identify and ensure tools and parts are available for service jobs.
• Prepare Field Service Orders, Rental Tickets and required documents.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with timely and competent service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is a non-rotational position.

Job Summary: Performs field service activities including installation, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment. Maintains customer base by performing timely and competent service work.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Checking compatibility of equipment, inspecting condition, dry fitting and communicating relevant information with customer.
• Installing and testing of equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Servicing equipment as requested by customers in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Repairing equipment as requested by customers and as necessary due to field malfunctions.
• Maintain service vehicle and tolls/equipment. Ensure periodic maintenance consistent with Company policy and promptly report required repairs to Branch Manager.
• Providing feedback to the Company through reporting of field problems and failures to the Branch Manager for processing of Field Complaint Reports.
• Identifying and ensuring appropriate tools, backup equipment and parts are available at or taken on service job.
• Preparing Field Service Orders, Rental Tickets and customer required documents accurately and completely.
• Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction by providing timely and competent service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education, Training, Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer required training.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Certified in H2S, SafeLand and DOT when driving vehicles greater than 10,001 GVWR.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Product, Customer Service Best Practices, Service Documentation and Record Keeping, Wellhead and Valve Equipment Compatibility, Wellhead and Valve Installation, Operation, and Maintenance, Field Equipment Repair, Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and other OEM Equipment. Intermediate Computer, Language, and Mathematical Skills. Intermediate Reasoning Ability.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None required.
