Job summary

Cactus, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field service activities including installation, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment. You will maintain customer base by providing timely and competent service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a demanding field environment.

Required: High school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and customer training. Certifications in H2S, SafeLand and DOT are preferred for driving larger vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Check compatibility of equipment, inspect condition, dry fit and communicate with customer.
• Install and test equipment in line with operating procedures.
• Service equipment as requested by customers in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Repair equipment as requested by customers and as necessary due to field malfunctions.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools/equipment, report required repairs to Branch Manager.

This is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is a non-rotational position.

Job Summary: Performs field service activities including installation, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment. Maintains customer base by performing timely and competent service work.

Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
• Checking compatibility of equipment, inspecting condition, dry fitting and communicating relevant information with customer.
• Installing and testing of equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Servicing equipment as requested by customers in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Repairing equipment as requested by customers and as necessary due to field malfunctions.
• Maintain service vehicle and tolls/equipment. Ensure periodic maintenance consistent with Company policy and promptly report required repairs to Branch Manager.
• Providing feedback to the Company through reporting of field problems and failures to the Branch Manager for processing of Field Complaint Reports.
• Identifying and ensuring appropriate tools, backup equipment and parts are available at or taken on service job.
• Preparing Field Service Orders, Rental Tickets and customer required documents accurately and completely.
• Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction by providing timely and competent service.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education, Training, Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer required training.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Certified in H2S, SafeLand and DOT when driving vehicles greater than 10,001 GVWR.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Product, Customer Service Best Practices, Service Documentation and Record Keeping, Wellhead and Valve Equipment Compatibility, Wellhead and Valve Installation, Operation, and Maintenance, Field Equipment Repair, Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and other OEM Equipment. Intermediate Computer, Language, and Mathematical Skills. Intermediate Reasoning Ability.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None required.
