Job summary

GlobalcomTechnologies, a division of Westphal & Company, is hiring Technology Cable Technicians for Madison, Milwaukee, and Dubuque. These roles support commercial, industrial, medical, educational, and residential projects across Wisconsin and Iowa.

You will install, maintain, and repair network cabling, pull and label CAT6/CAT6A, fiber, and coax, install racks, test and troubleshoot, and collaborate with field crews. Safety is emphasized on every project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of professional technician experience preferred.
• Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair network cabling systems on active job sites.
• Pull, route, and label CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cable.
• Install support structures including racks, j-hooks, and innerduct.
• Test and troubleshoot network communication issues.
• Inspect cable infrastructure to ensure quality and performance.
• Collaborate with field crews and other trades.
• Follow safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Support training and development through hands-on experience.
