Job summary

Integral Building Systems, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to install, repair, and maintain cabling networks in commercial settings.

You will install and terminate Cat5e/6/6a, fiber, and related hardware while ensuring compliance with Wisconsin Building Code and industry standards. The role requires travel, on-call availability, and the ability to lift heavy equipment; we offer comprehensive benefits and a starting salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Capable of working effectively with co-workers under minimal supervision and fulfill customer requests.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to safely operate a scissors and articulated (boom) lift.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Position may require travel and 24/7 on call availability.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate Category 5e, 6, and 6a cables.
• Copper cable testing and documentation.
• Terminations on 110 & 66 blocks.
• Install and terminate fiber optic cables.
• Fiber cable testing and documentation.
• Install sound/paging equipment
• Install Access Control field hardware.
• Install Security field hardware.
• Install Video Surveillance field hardware.
• Perform subcontracted service work for national companies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Compensation:

Overall compensation varies based on experience level. Starting salary will be based on experience, qualifications, track record and other relevant criteria.
