Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 6 months of related experience or training.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery and use measuring devices.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, perform quality procedures, and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor the Planetary Strander for standard and nonstandard products.
• Set up and run a respooling machine to spool sub cables, fillers, and wire.
• Inspect products at various stages to ensure conformance with setup specifications.
• Complete all job documentation and maintain clean equipment to prevent contamination.
• Identify defects, assist in solving problems, and escalate to supervision when needed.
• Operate rework line, washing cables, printing, stripping, respooling, and using stripping wheel on armor/FRP cables.
