Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Specifications Engineer in Pearl, MS to own product definitions, BOMs, and performance specs for wire and cable products. You will translate designs and customer requirements into manufacturable specifications and controlled documentation, supporting cross-functional teams including Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Design Engineering.

You will review revisions, ensure manufacturability, comply with industry standards, and serve as the NPI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Experience creating, interpreting, and maintaining engineering specifications, drawings, BOMs, product structures, and testing requirements.
Wire and cable industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of UL, CSA, NFPA, IEC, and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

Translate approved designs, customer specs, drawings and standards into complete, manufacturable product specifications.
Create and maintain engineering BOMs with materials specs, quantities, and validation requirements.
Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, tolerances, quality checkpoints, testing and acceptance criteria.
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) for all new products at the Pearl facility.
