First Call Security Innovations LLC is seeking dependable, hands-on independent contractors to assist with commercial security and technology installation projects. This role focuses on pulling and routing cabling, mounting cameras and security devices, and completing physical installation work at commercial sites.

Ideal candidates have hands-on construction or installation experience, are comfortable using tools, and can complete work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cabling through ceilings, walls, and conduits.
• Mount security cameras, access control readers, and other devices.
• Assist with installing door hardware, mounting brackets, and related equipment.
• Label and organize cables, test basic cabling, and verify connections.
• Follow project drawings, installation instructions, and site requirements.
• Keep work areas organized and protect equipment and materials.
• Communicate installation issues to the project lead promptly.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain professional workmanship.
• Travel to assigned project locations as needed.

Job Overview

First Call Security Innovations LLC is seeking dependable, hands-on independent contractors to assist with commercial security and technology installation projects.

This role primarily involves pulling and routing cable, mounting cameras and security devices, and completing physical installation work at commercial, institutional, and construction job sites.

The ideal contractor has hands-on construction or installation experience, is comfortable using tools, and can complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

Scope of Work

• Pull, route, and secure low-voltage cable through ceilings, walls, conduit, and cable pathways.

• Install cable supports, J-hooks, and cable management materials.

• Mount security cameras, access control readers, and other electronic security devices.

• Assist with installing door hardware, brackets, mounting hardware, and related equipment.

• Label, organize, dress, and secure cables neatly.

• Assist with basic cable testing and verification as assigned.

• Follow project drawings, installation instructions, and site requirements.

• Keep work areas organized and protect equipment and materials.

• Communicate installation issues, damaged materials, and job site obstacles to the designated project lead.

• Follow applicable job site safety requirements and maintain professional workmanship.

Required Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with construction, cable pulling, equipment mounting, or a related trade is preferred.

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic installation equipment.

• Able to work above ceilings and in active commercial construction environments.

• Able to lift and carry installation materials and equipment as required by the project.

• Reliable, safety‑conscious, and attentive to detail.

• Able to understand and follow project drawings, installation instructions, and site requirements.

• Able to travel to assigned job sites as needed.

• Willing to work collaboratively with project leads and other contractors on site.

Low‑voltage cabling or commercial security installation experience is a plus. Candidates with general construction, telecommunications, or structured cabling experience are encouraged to apply.

Contractor Requirements

• Engagement Type: Independent contractor (1099), subject to applicable classification requirements.

• Work Type: Project‑based commercial security installation.

• Systems: CCTV/IP cameras, access control, intrusion detection, and low‑voltage cabling.

• Project Environments: Commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare, and other commercial construction sites.

• Transportation: Must be able to travel to assigned project locations.

• Tools: Contractors must provide the tools required for their agreed scope of work, as specified before the project begins.

Contractors are expected to complete agreed installation work safely, meet project specifications, maintain quality workmanship, and communicate project‑related issues promptly.
