Job summary

LAKE CABLE, LLC in Elkhart, Indiana, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair manufacturing equipment, diagnose machine issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running at full capacity.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards. Shifts include 7am–3pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–7am with differential depending on shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School, GED or equivalent.
• 2–5 years experience as a Maintenance/Electrical Technician or similar.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements (Lock Out/Tag Out, safety, waste handling).

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, rebuild and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools.
• Install wiring of electronic devices and electrical panels.
• Install new and used equipment; follow electrical drawings/prints.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Maintain ISO records and required documentation.
