You will develop battery cable and wire harness solutions, review drawings, and interact with clients to gather requirements.

The role emphasizes CAD-driven design, BOM creation, and collaboration with production and purchasing to ensure feasibility and material availability.

Qualifications

• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and BOMs for cable and harness assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with cable design, wire harness assembly, or engineering quoting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Excellent written communication with email-based client interaction.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and BOMs for cable and harness assemblies.
• Review customer drawings to determine materials and components.
• Design and revise cable and wire harness assemblies using CAD tools.
• Communicate with clients via email to gather requirements and provide technical support.
• Maintain organized quotes, designs, and communications records.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Create spreadsheets and documentation using Excel and Office tools.
• Support engineering projects with documentation and process improvements.
