This onsite position involves setting up extruder equipment, handling materials, and monitoring production to ensure cables meet specifications. You will participate in safety programs, maintain records, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Read and follow written work instructions.
• Use precision gauges and measuring tools.
• Perform shop math for production calculations.
• Operate simple computer tasks.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Verify calibration of measuring devices.
• Support ISO certification processes.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Maintenance: Prepare and set up extruder and equipment for cable production.
• Material Handling: Load and unload compound boxes/crates; feed material strips correctly.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor specs on operator screen and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Quality Control: Inspect cables for defects and coordinate with QA for issues.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and report hazards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain production data, equipment status, and maintenance records.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
