Marmon Utility LLC in Seymour, CT is hiring for a CV Operator on a Mon–Thu 7am–7pm shift (3-day weekend), onsite. You will setup extruder and equipment, monitor production, and help maintain quality in a fast-paced cable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read and use precision gauges and tools.
• Perform simple shop math.
• Read and follow written instructions.
• Use computer for simple tasks.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Verify calibration of measuring devices.
• Participate in ISO certification maintenance.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Maintenance: Prepare and set up extruder and equipment for cable production.
• Material Handling: Load and unload compound boxes onto stands.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor specs and tolerances and adjust as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect cables for defects and coordinate with QA.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain production data and maintenance records.
• Troubleshooting: Minimize downtime and resolve issues.
