Job summary

Marmon Utility LLC, part of Marmon Holdings and Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking operators to setup and maintain extrusion equipment for cable production in Seymour, CT. This full-time onsite role offers a 7pm-7am shift Mon-Thur with a 3-day weekend and competitive hourly pay.

You will handle material loading, monitor production specs, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality while adhering to safety standards. The position includes growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Read/ use precision gauges and tools.
• Perform shop math.
• Read/follow written instructions.
• Use computer for simple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Maintenance: Prepare and set up extruder and equipment for cable production.
• Material Handling: Load and unload compound boxes/crates onto compound stands; ensure correct material strips.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor operator screen for specs and tolerances; adjust as needed for quality.
