Job summary

Creative Technology Group in Tennessee seeks a Warehouse Lead to manage the Cable and Power department within a 70,000+ square foot facility. You will oversee daily workflows, supervise a team, and ensure on-time fulfillment of shipments.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and hands-on QC of inventory; forklift certification is required, and responsibilities include coordinating dock transfers, maintaining records, and improving processes to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead a team and review work.
  • Ability to maintain schedules and assign work to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to teach team members QC equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and operate in a large warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manages the department within the warehouse.
  • Forecasts upcoming shows and transfers.
  • Package and label items appropriately for transportation or show requirements.
  • Work with operations to ensure substitutions or shortages.
  • Receive sub-rented items to ensure fulfillment.
  • Create a shipping manifest or carnet before shipping.
  • Maintain and repair cable inventory and QC items.
  • Organize cable inventory and return QC’d items to stock.
  • Build specialized looms as needed.
  • Assist in loading equipment to docking stations for outbound delivery.
  • Help load/unload trucks; restock delivered equipment.
  • Document service in the inventory system and report damaged equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance, QC, and repairs.
  • Handle inventory management and other duties as assigned.

Leads Cable and Power department, supports operations, manages team, and maintains a schedule for

incoming/outbound shows.

Job Duties
  • Successfully manages the department within the warehouse.
  • Forecasts upcoming shows and transfers
  • Package and label items appropriately for transportation or based on show requirements
  • Work with operations to ensure proper substitutions or shortages
  • Receive sub-rented items to ensure fulfillment
  • Create a Shipping manifest or carnet before shipping
  • Complete maintenance, re-coiling, testing, repair, and upkeep of cable inventory
  • Organization of cable inventory and returning of QC’d inventory to stock storage
  • Build specialized looms as needed
  • Assist in pushing the equipment to various docking stations for outbound delivery
  • Helps load and unload trucks when needed.
  • Assist in restocking delivered equipment in various locations throughout the warehouse
  • Document service in the inventory system and report all damaged equipment to operations
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance, QC, and items entered into repair
  • Handles inventory management.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Fulltime, ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Availability to work overtime.

Required Education and Experience
  • Ability to lead a team and review work.
  • Ability to maintain schedules and assign work to ensure all deadlines within the department are met
  • Ability to teach team members how to properly QC equipment
  • Solid knowledge of R2
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to spend long periods standing or moving in a 70,000+ square foot warehouse
  • Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching frequently
  • Certified to drive sit-down and standup forklifts.
