Job summary

Prysmian Group is hiring at our Taunton, MA plant for a manufacturing associate to support material handling, cutting, inspection, and packing duties. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will load, inspect, and prepare cables, assist in shipping, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following QMS and ISO14001 guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must learn basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to train for forklift license or certification.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Remove material from stock per order cut schedules and write instructions; cut cables to length.
• Visually inspect cables for damage/shorts and report deficiencies.
• Assist in packaging/lagging reels for shipping; help load trucks as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance, 6S, and CI activities.
• Keep work area safe and orderly; comply with safety procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements per QMS.
• Adhere to ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
• Overtime may be required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
