Job summary

Prysmian Group in McKinney, TX is seeking a Cable Manufacturing Equipment Operator to manage up to five machines (Armor, Cabler, Packaging) in a fast-paced production line. This full-time role offers 12-hour or 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities and a strong on‑the‑job training program.

Candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and work well in a team. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must not be color blind.
• Open to 3rd shift and overnight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Armor, Cabler, and Packaging machines.
• Manage up to five machines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain equipment for safe operation.
• Use hand tools (calipers, wrenches, pliers, tape measures) as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.
• Follow OSHA and Prysmian safety standards and report concerns.
