Job summary

Underground Solutions (UGS) is seeking a full-time field technician to operate vibratory plows, directional drills, vacs and mini-excavators to install fiber and conduit. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with a 4-day work week, in-person location, and occasional travel.

We value safety, independence, reliability, and problem-solving. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various conditions.
• Reliability: a valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• The UGS Instinct: you are honest, self-motivated, and hassle-free.
• Problem-Solvers: preferred knowledge of underground utilities or mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Heavy Gear: vibratory plows, directional drills, vacs, and mini-excavators.
• Be Independent: complete daily tasks with minimal supervision once trained.
• Stay Safe: follow protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and professional site.
• Exceed Goals: work with your team to hit production targets through high-quality work.
