Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles is seeking a cabinet assembler to build and install cabinets from engineering drawings using a range of hand and power tools. You will set up machines, fabricate components, and ensure dimensions meet blueprint specifications.

You should have 1+ year cabinet making experience, read engineering drawings well, and be able to laminate panels while handling high-quality standards in a rugged production environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years cabinet making experience or similar experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices.
• Familiar with laminating cabinets & panels and safe operation of pneumatic/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets from engineering drawings using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Install and fabricate cabinet components and hardware.
• Set up and operate machines; cut, shape, and finish wood components.
• Mark outlines or dimensions and prioritize work to meet production goals.
