Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles is seeking an Assembly Technician to construct cabinets from engineering drawings on the factory floor. You will operate a range of hand and power tools, set up equipment, and ensure components meet specified dimensions.

The role requires at least one year of cabinet making experience, the ability to read layouts, and the skill to use measuring devices. You will work in a safety-focused environment with PPE provided and anticipated long shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet making or similar craft.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
• Ability to read and use measuring devices (calipers, rulers, etc.).
• Experience laminating cabinets and panels as needed.
• Familiar with pneumatic and power tools including drills and saws.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets from engineering drawings using a variety of tools and equipment.
• Set up and operate machines to fabricate cabinet components.
• Mark parts per blueprint specifications and maintain quality standards.
• Prioritize work to meet production goals and schedules.
