Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Build, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry, millwork, and related components.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and accuracy.
• Operate woodworking equipment including saws, edge banders, routers, sanders, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Install hardware and perform fit and finish adjustments as needed.
• Construct mock-ups, prototypes, or specialty components as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to solve production challenges and improve processes.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Follow schedules and production timelines while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Cabinetmaker is responsible for building and assembling custom cabinetry and millwork products according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in producing exceptional work.

Qualifications

• Previous cabinetmaking, woodworking, millwork, or finish carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and hardware.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
