Job summary

CSD Custom Woodworks in Minnesota is seeking a Project Manager / Draftsman to own each job from initial measurement to final install. You will design and draft cabinetry using CAD software (KCD or similar), visit sites for measurements, and serve as the main contact for clients and the shop.

You’ll coordinate the shop crew, keep details straight, adapt to changing priorities, and help maintain a positive team culture.

Qualifications

Experience designing/drafting cabinetry in KCD or comparable software.
Sharp attention to detail. Measurements and drawings must be right the first time.
Strong communication and leadership skills, comfortable talking with clients, crew, and ownership.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and shifting priorities in a fast-moving shop.
A sense of ownership. willing to stay later or come in early to finish a job.
Positive, team-first attitude that helps motivate the shop.

Responsibilities

Visit job sites to take field measurements (including final/verification measurements).
Design and draw custom cabinetry using CAD software (KCD or similar).
Own each project from initial measurement through final install, A to Z.
Communicate job details, specs, and changes clearly to the shop crew.
Serve as the main point of contact for questions on any active job.
Help keep the shop running smoothly by supporting a positive, motivated team culture.
