Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Drafter to develop and maintain modified and specialty cabinet drawings for manufacturing and customers. The role uses CAD systems to produce shop-floor drawings and ensure manufacturability, while maintaining the drafting library and supporting cross-training in Production Control.

The ideal candidate has vocational drafting training and CAD experience, with the ability to handle customer requests for custom cabinetry.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of vocational education specializing in architectural or mechanical drafting or equivalent experience in the cabinet industry.
• CAD experience in designing or editing cabinet drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develops modified cabinet drawings for shop floor on CAD system.
• Creates and designs specialty cabinet drawings per customer's requests.
• Maintains drafting library.
• Cross trains within the Production Control department as required.
• Ensures manufacturability of drawing requests.
