Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to work on home remodeling projects in the South Suburban area. The role involves arriving on time in company apparel, following the project manager’s guidance, and keeping the work area clean while updating daily progress.

Ideal candidates demonstrate stellar work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to install cabinet components such as doors, hinges, and roll-out trays using common power tools.

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in logo’d shirt and work attire.
• Follow project manager instructions and daily progress updates.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and communicate progress.
• Work efficiently to install cabinets, doors, hinges and trim.
• Operate power tools safely on job sites.

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Technician / Trim Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to work on home remodeling projects in the South Suburban area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Arrive to jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
• Follow instructions given by project manager
• Follow Trustpoints on every job
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
• Work quickly and efficiently

Skills

• Stellar work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
• Able to drill for hinges
• Able to install doors and drawer fronts
• Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
• Ability to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
• Ability to work in south suburbs and surrounding communities
• Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
• Must have a valid driver's license with a verifiable good driving record and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Additional Skills (preferred But Not Required). Training Is Provided.

• Prior experience in cabinet refacing
• Prior experience in cutting moldings
• Able to install crown molding

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
