Kitchen Tune-Up is hiring a Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter to work across Bloomfield, NJ metro area. The role focuses on installing and finishing cabinets, refacing, and related carpentry tasks in clients' homes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in trim carpentry, own tools, reliable transportation, and strong communication. Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 per hour with opportunities for raises and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry.
• Prior experience in Cabinet Refacing preferred.
• Able to put veneer on boxes.
• Able to install end panels, crown molding, and cabinet doors/drawer fronts.
• Able to drill for hinges and install drawers/roll-out trays in cabinets.
• Able to install new cabinets and modify existing cabinets.
• Experience with cabinet refacing, carpentry, or remodeling construction.
• Must have all tools and reliable transportation.
• Must be punctual, a good communicator, and keep the work area clean daily.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to the jobsite on time.
• Follow instructions from the project manager.
• Follow Trustpoints on every job.
• Keep work area clean and orderly during installation and daily cleanup.
• Communicate progress with the project manager daily.
• Work quickly and efficiently; clients do not want us in their home longer than needed.
• Be respectful of clients' homes and conduct yourself professionally.

Job Requirements - Cabinet Installer / Finish Carpenter

• 3 years of experience in Trim Carpentry

• Able to install cabinet doors and drawer fronts
• Able to drill for hinges and install drawers / roll-out trays in cabinets
• Able to both install new cabinets and modify existing cabinets when required
• Prior experience with cabinet refacing, carpentry, or remodeling construction
• Must have all tools and reliable transportation
